WTV System Highlights

Prints In Seconds OATS Compliance Year/Month/Date/Hours/Minutes/Seconds.

Atomic Clock Master clock can be programmed to receive time signal once, twice, or several times a day. WWV's signal can be received through a modem or other time source.

Synchronized Time Master clock sends time signal to clocks every minute.

Accurate The master clock has an accuracy of one-third second per day wothout synchronization with the atomic clock. However, we usually synchronize at least once every twenty-four hours with NIST time. This is usually done just prior to trading and actually enhances the overall operational accuracy of the system. Tim stamps will not accumulate time drift because they are synchronized 1440 times a day. (OATS allows a time drift of up to three seconds per day).

Automatic "NO PRINT" If for some reason a time stamp does not receive a synchronizing signal for ten minutes, an "X" will print after the time and appear on the stamp's display. The display will alternately flash between the time and the message "Awaiting Synch". After aneight hour period of operating on its own without a time signal from the master, a slight posiibility exists that more than a two second time drift could occur. For security purposes that machine will not print until it has once again received a valid time signal.

Intelligent Machines The time stamps, when asked by the master clock, will report if they have received a valid time signal or not. If the connection is temporarily disabled, the master clock will report that the time stamp may not be on the network anymore as a machine down alert.
